This Futuristic Dining Table Turns Into an Egg When Not In Use

There's nothing we quite love more than a futuristic redesign of something that's totally crazy, totally over the top, but also pretty awesome! Such was the case with the Altwork robotic desk, this UFO yacht, this coffee table fridge, and of course the circle kitchen. This time around, we've come across the futuristic dining table that turns into an egg when not in use, much like the transforming egg patio furniture we posted about a while back.
Its called the Küre Dining table, and it was designed by Turkish product designer Fatih Can Sarioz. The unique futuristic transforming egg shaped dining table could be the perfect addition to anyone looking to live the Jetsons-esque lifestyle of flying cars and robotic maids!
The futuristic egg shaped dining table consists of 6 total chairs that push together to form a perfect circle to take up as little as space as possible. Not unlike the space-saving dining tables we features a while back.
Atop the perfectly shaped chairs that form a perfect circle is a tabletop with an attached pod on the top of it that raises up to reveal futuristic lighting to create a very cool ambiance while eating at the table. Lights are placed above each of the 6 seating areas that shine light down onto your eating area, plus there's a tube light that's made from the base of the top pod that shines light in all directions outward from the base.
There's not much information as to how the Kure pod futuristic dining table functions or works, but we can only assume there would be a button to automatically raise and lower the top lighting pod, as well as a separate button to turn the lighting on and off.
Each chair has a handle on the back of it to easily grab and pull outward from the egg shape when it's packed away. From the illustrations on the designers page, it also looks like the upholstery would come in a few different color options, or perhaps custom colors to your liking.
