It’s the season for long hours lounging in the pool, eating way too many hot dogs, and indulging in way too many cold beverages. If I could, I’d waste away the entire summer in a swimming pool, getting rid of all of my belongings except this floating BBQ grill and my bean bag pool float. And sure, I’d probably keep this inflatable tank pool float with working water gun too (I’d obviously need to defend my pool paradise from intruders, aka those neighbor kids).
Versions: Frontgate | Poolmaster
While I was pretty sure I checked everything off my list, I’ll need to make an amendment now that I’ve seen these floating ping pong tables! We found two different versions, and both of these floating ping pong tables are fun and easy ways to hone your ping pong skills without needing to leave the comfort of your swimming pool! And it’s great exercise! Ping pong is a sport, right?
With an incredibly simple assembly, you’ll be playing on the water in no time. The floating ping pong tables include nets, a set of two floating paddles, and three floating, regulation-sized ping pong balls.
Another awesome thing about these floating tables is that they can be quickly converted into an indoor table tennis table. Is that a storm brewing? Head inside with your table and keep that epic tournament going!
Frontgate’s floating ping pong table can be converted into an on-land table by unfolding the legs built into the table’s underside.
Frontgate’s floating ping pong table is also made out of durable, all-weather polypropylene and even includes drink holders! Although if you’re as competitive as I am, that drink probably isn’t going to be in its holder for very long. The dimensions for this table are a considerable 72 inches by 51 inches.
The Poolmaster's ping pong table for the pool can be similarly transformed by simply placing the floating table tennis table on any flat surface.
The Poolmaster floating ping pong table is 54 inches by 27 inches, so not quite regulation-size but pretty much perfect for most teenagers and adults!
While Frontgate’s floating ping pong table is currently sold out, now is a great time to invest in Poolmaster’s floating ping pong table. It may not have a drink holder, but its non-corrosive EPS foam base and ABS top surface is perfect for keeping that game going all summer long. Just don’t forget your sun screen!
Do you want to take it up a notch and invite your pool table tennis league over for a little pool poker night instead? Maybe you should pick up one of these floating card tables too. Seriously, I’m never going to leave my pool!
The great thing about both versions is that they can be used as a normal land-based ping pong table as well when you're not in the pool!
The frontgate version has legs that come with it that can be attached, but the Poolmaster version can just be used on any flat surface like a countertop, table, or even just the ground!
