Segway Drift W1 E-Skates - Self-Balancing Skates

First there was the segway, then then was the hoverboard, and now there's self balancing e-skates! We just need things to help us balance and get around, but apparently we want them smaller and smaller. The new Segway Drift W1 self balancing skates are no exception. Just step onto the skates and they'll move you around like a hoverboard while balancing on one wheel under each foot.

The Segway self-balancing skates work just like a hoverboard does, except there's two of them (one for each foot), and they're tiny! They're powered by an internal rechargeable battery that will give you 45 minutes of ride time, and they have a max speed of around 7.5 mph.

Since the Segway self-balancing skates are so small and portable, you can easily put them in a purse or backpack to use when you need them. They're perfect for traveling and getting a little transportation help whenever you want it. Compare that to sticking an entire hoverboard in your backpack and these things seem like a dream.

Each self-balancing skate weighs 7.7 lbs, and measures 11.5 inches long x 6 inches wide x 5 inches tall. They're super lightweight and portable, and you can charge both skates at the same time for optimal ride time.

The Segway e-skates are currently in a pre-order phase through Segway, and are expected to start shipping August 2018. You just need to put $99 down when you pre-order, and then pay the remaining $300 when the skates are ready to ship
