The Oxboard is an Electric Segway Scooter Without The Handlebars

The Oxboard is essentially a mini segway without the handlebars or anything to hold on to. Simply step onto the device with both feet and lean in the direction you'd like to travel. And here I am using my legs like a sucker. It almost seems like it should be used by some sort of evil villain in a movie as he slowly floats towards you holding a bald cat. Powered by battery and weighing just 20 lbs, the Oxboard seems like a much more lightweight and much easier to transport alternative than the Segway which weighs over 250 lbs. Perfect for a short ride to work, to pick up a quick bite to eat, or for a stroll down the local boulevard, the Oxboard is not meant to be all terrain with it's smaller wheel set, so no off-roading, mudding, or riding in too much rain.
Designed in the Netherlands, the Oxboard contains a battery that will last for up to a 9 to 12 mile ride, and will get fully charged within three hours of being plugged in. The Oxboard is made from an ABS plastic housing, is extremely abrasion and scratch resistant, and contains bump rubbers all over the device to protect it from when you'll most certainly crash it.
Update: Looking for a cheaper alternative? Check out this cheaper Monorover mini segway.
The Oxboard scooter measures 24.6 inches wide x 9.8 inches tall x 9.6 inches deep, and comes in a few different colors to choose from. Check out the Oxboard scooter in action via the videos below.
