The Layered Earth Bookends are a set of functional sculptures that act as bookends which are made from layered wood to make it look like the layers of the Earth. Designed by Garth Borovicka an artist from Chicago, the layered Earth Bookends come in a variety of different sceneries featured on the top of each bookend, such as a forest, a snowy forest, a river, or a mountain pass. The layered earth bookends are made from layering various types of wood such as repurposed fir, oak wood, pine, plywood, and various other materials and topped with a forest diorama made from felt and different models of trees and various stones and other elements.
The layered earth bookends weigh 6 lbs so they will be heavy enough to hold your books back, and measure 8 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 4 inches long.
