Kindling Cracker Lets You Split Wood With a Hammer

Similar to the wall mounted kindling splitter we posted a while back, this Kindling Cracker allows you to split wood super easily with just a hammer. To use it, simply place a log or piece of kindling into the circle on the top and have it rest on top of the blade that's pointing up. Then just smash it a couple of times with a hammer and it will be split in half in seconds. Plus using the splitter will take much less effort to cut the wood in half than an axe would.
Perfect to have next to your indoor or outdoor fireplaces, the Kindling Splitter will allow you to have those perfectly sized pieces of kindling every-time. Plus there are no moving parts where you could get injured, nor does the device require any sort of maintenance. Just pick up a piece of wood, along with a hammer, a mallet, or even another piece of wood, and smash the piece into to two separate slices.
Not only is there just a blade in the center of the device, but as the wood gets split further and further, the wood gets pushed outward more and more using the splitting wedge, helping the wood spit fully in half with each pound from the hammer. Once the kindling is fully split, it will stay standing up within the ring at the top so you can simply pick up the pieces and move on to the next piece.
The Kindling Cracker is made from solid cast iron, consists of one solid piece, and will last so long that it'll be something that your grandkids' grandkids could even use one day. The only thing it might need every once in a while is a touch-up of paint. The kindling splitter weighs 10 lbs, and measures 12 inches tall x 6.5 inches in diameter on the inside of the ring.
