The Hydro Hammock Is a Hot Tub In a Hammock

What could be more relaxing than floating back and forth on a nice warm day with the sun heating your skin with a nice breeze to cool it back down before you get too hot? Well if that hammock was full of warm bubbling water, that might do it... The Hydro Hammock essentially takes the best of both worlds and combines a hot tub with a hammock.
Made from a high strength synthetic fabric to ensure the hammock is able to both contain the water inside the hammock as well as float it above the ground without snapping, the Hydro Hammock can be used as a hammock, or you can dig a hole in the ground to create a temporary hot tub right in the ground by just draping the fabric over the hole you dug.
The Hydro Hammock comes in two parts, the actual hammock that will hold you and the water, and the water heating system. You can grab just the basic hammock part for just $458, but if you want to actually heat the water within the hammock (which of course you do), that's going to run you an extra $1400. The handy thing about using this water heater is that you don't have to carry around an entire hot tub to enjoy some bubbly water out in nature. The water heating system comes in a case that's easy to get around as it has wheels and an extendable handle.
The hot tub hammock can carry up to 2 adults at a time along with 50 gallons of water, although only around 20 gallons of water is necessary for a relaxing session in the hammock tub. With the weight the hammock needs to support you're going to want to find some very sturdy trees or branches to hang it on depending on how much water you'll be using along with how round your belly is.
The Hydro Hammock was originally funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2015 where they raised over $77,000. Check out the hot tub hammock in action via the video below.
Hank Scorpio: Uh, hi, Homer. What can I do for you?
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks! Homer, there's four places. There's the Hammock Hut, that's on third.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Hank Scorpio: There's Hammocks-R-Us, that's on third too. You got Put-Your-Butt-There.
Homer: Mm-Hmm.
Hank Scorpio: That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot... Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the hammock complex on third.
Homer: Oh, the hammock district!
Hank Scorpio: That's right.
