There are currently two types of watches for the blind, an open face watch, where they can feel the hands of the watch, or an audible watch, where they can here a voice telling them the time. The Haptica Braille Watch is a watch for the blind that uses actual braille to tell the current time. Unfortunately this was a failed Kickstarter campaign, so this product may never come to fruition. I’m not saying that the kickstarter project failed because of the guy in the video’s extremely mundane, boring, monotone voice, I’m just saying, yes it is exactly that reason.
