The Smart Rope is a jump rope that has embedded LEDs that can flash the current jump count in front of you with each rotation, plus it syncs with your smart phone to give you important metrics and data about how many total jumps you’ve done, time you’ve jumped for, how many calories you’ve burned, etc… The smart rope uses its embedded LED lights to display the current jump count right in front of you with each swing of the rope by timing the lights with the speed of your rotation, which not only helps you keep count of your jumps but makes it more fun. To charge the smart rope simply remove the rubber cover on the end of the handle and plug a charging cord into the mini USB port, which can be charged with a wall adapter or using your computer.
The Smart Jump Rope is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 which is used to communicate with your smart phone or tablet, and uses an app to track BMI, calories burned, counts, times, etc. You’ll just have to input your height and weight to calculate a few of the data points.
The jump rope itself is also improved from your run-of-the-mill jump rope as the rope is angled at 45 degrees from the handle which makes each rotation effortless and have a natural motion, plus ball bearings are used to make the rope rotate as smooth and as fast as possible.
The rope comes in a few different sizes to choose from, including a small 8 foot rope that suits jumpers up to 5 ft 4 inches tall, a medium rope that measures 8 feet 6 inches long that suits jumpers up to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and a large rope that measures 9 feet long that should suit jumpers up to 6 feet 2 inches tall.
