This Kit Lets You Make Rockets Out Of Water Bottles

The 4M Water Rocket Kit allows you to create a rocket that can launch over 90 feet into the air that's made out of just a simple water bottle that's filled with water. The way it works is you fill the bottle up about half way with water, and then pump air into the excess area in the bottle, and once enough pressure is built up into the bottle, it will launch into the air. Perfect for aspiring rocket scientists, someone who just watched October Sky and is eager to replicate Homer's life, or just for a group of drunken adults that's ran out of fireworks to light-off, the water rocket kit is a great way to begin a long venture into rocket building, and since this one requires essentially no knowledge of rockets at all, it seems to be a good starting point.

The water bottle rocket kit comes with 1 water bottle, 3 fins to attach the your water bottle along with 1 extra fin in-case one breaks, 1 fin support to hold the fins together, a bung and bung connector, a pump connector, and a 6.5 foot plastic pipe extension so you can stand away from the water rocket when it goes off.

Unfortunately the water bottle rocket does not come with it's own pump, so you will have to use your own. Any pump will work, but a standard bike pump that stands up will work best, just as long as it has a bike attachment nozzle. The good thing is you can use pretty much any size bottle like a 2 liter soda or water bottle, not just the one that's included in the kit.
