Repurpose an old vintage wine barrel into a rain retainer to water your garden with. Collect water with each new rainfall and eventually you can attach any standard hose to the nozzle at the bottom of the barrel, or just fill up a bucket and water your garden. The barrel can also be used to take baths in. If you are running low on funds and don't want to waste the water to take a shower in your home, just wait until the barrel is full of rain water, throw in some bubbles, grab a rag on a stick and jump on in.
