Smart Cloud Mimics a Thunderstorm and Plays Music

The smart cloud is a cloud that you can hang from your ceiling and will mimic the look of a thunderstorm while it plays music from your phone, tablet, or laptop via Bluetooth technology. Designed by the New York based design studio Richard Clarkson Studio, the Cloud uses motion sensors to detect people in the room and creates a unique lightning and thunder show that is controlled by their movements. Just talking about it doesn't do the cloud justice, so check out the Smart Thunderstorm Cloud Speaker in action via the gif and video below. The smart cloud also comes with a remote that you can use to control the volume, control the color changing lights, and more.

The smart cloud speaker is made by felting hypoallergenic fiberfill to a sponge casing, and the speaker and electronics are all hidden within the cloud which measures 28 inches x 14 inches x 13 inches.
