The Segway miniPRO is a mini segway that is most likely in response to the recent popularity of hoverboards, and size-wise, is somewhere in between a full-sized Segway, and a hoverboard. Instead of having just a base like the hoverboards do, the Segway miniPRO has a base along with a device that is placed between your legs for more precise steering and control, plus there's probably a lot smaller chance of the device exploding or catching fire.
