How many times have you been out and about at a coffee shop or on the road when you need to scan a document to your computer? Well, no longer will you need to haul around a 20 lb scanner with you wherever you go. The Dacuda PocketScan is a document scanner that's about the size of a disposable camera and will fit perfectly into a pocket, bag, backpack, or purse to easily use when needed.
To use it, simply connect it to your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer via Bluetooth, then just hold the button and scan your document by waving it around like a paintbrush. The document will scan in real time and you'll be able to see the document appear live on your device's screen with each stroke.
After you've scanned a document to your device you can select, edit, or copy the scanned text, including tables of data that you can copy right into excel. PocketScan also recognizes text in over 60 different languages and lets you instantly translate them to and from any language. Once scanned, your documents will work with applications like Evernote, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc...
The Dacuda Pocketscan is compatible with the iPhone 5/6/7, iPad Air and iPad 4th generation and newer, newer Android phones and tablets, along with newer Windows and Mac desktops and laptops.
The tiny wavable document scanner was originally funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign where they raised over $500K to help bring the product to fruition and is now fully for sale on their website and Amazon.
