This DIY Iron Throne Cat Bed Is a Must For Game Of Thrones Lovers

If you've been around Odditymall long enough, you may remember the Game of Thrones cat bed that featured a while back. I mean, your cat already runs your house, it's no secret that they're the king of the home. So why not get them the throne that they deserve! One Redditor had a cardboard box, an idea, and some good crafting skills to DIY their own Game of Thrones cat bed iron throne, and it's safe to say it turned out incredible!

The Game of Thrones cat throne bed was created by Redditor u/PM_ME_UR_FAVCOLOR, aka, Elly Gibson, a 28 year old that made the DIY cat throne for her properly named cat King Arthur. She made the cat throne bed out of a simple cardboard box and some black paint.

She made the DIY cat throne in just a single day's afternoon, though she stated she had no idea what she was doing. But it's safe to say it turned out incredible!

After Elly posted her creation the aww community on Reddit, it quickly went viral. As of now it has around 97k upvotes, along with 1,000 comments.

Afterwards she posted instructional pictures onto Imgur to display how she went creating the DIY Game Of Thrones cat bed!

Elly basically took a simple cardboard box, cut out mini swords from the box, and layered them onto the back of the box.

She then took long strips of cardboard and draped it across the entire bottom, making the throne look extra tall and made from iron. Afterwards she painted the entire cat throne black to give it a really cool look.

As of now her cardboard Game of Thrones iron throne cat bed is not for sale anywhere that we could find. But perhaps she plans to sell the plans for the DIY project someday!
