If you or your kids happen to be frightened of fish, jellyfish, or any other slimy creatures lurking underneath the water while you swim, it may be time to get an Ocean Pool! It's a new product from Aquaglide that essentially gives you your own instant pool right in to the ocean or in a lake.
It features a large inflatable border that floats on top of the surface of the water where you can hang out or walk around, while the inside of the pool is closed off with a mesh lining. This way all of the water from the lake or ocean comes right through to instantly fill the Ocean Pool up, but keeps out any fish, creatures, weeds, or anything else swimming around in the water.
The inflatable Ocean Pool comes in two different sizes to choose from, including a smaller one that measures 13 feet x 13 feet, and a larger version that measures 20 feet x 20 feet.
The smaller version will run you about $2,700 bucks, whereas the larger version will run you a staggering $3,600 bucks. Suffice to say, your yacht will go nicely aside your Ocean Pool.
These Aquaglide Ocean Pools have an 8ft deep mesh enclosure designed to keep out even the smallest Jellyfish and unwanted sea life.
The smaller ocean pool can hold up to 8 people and weighs 176 lbs, while the larger version can hold up to 10 people and weighs 228 lbs. Both versions are made from Duratex 28 oz PVC along with commercial grade fabric that's reinforced with PVC material with DropStitch.
The Ocean Pool has a large sturdy deck area where you can walk around, rest your drinks or snacks, or just set up a lawn chair and relax while taking in the sun in the middle of the ocean.
Each one has handles to easily get in and out of the pool. Plus, while most Aquaglide items are modular, you can even add on accessories along the sides of the pool using their Vario-Lock cinch strap attachment system.
The Aquaglide Ocean Pool should be used in water that's at least 10 feet deep
The company FunAir also offers version of an ocean pool and it's called the Sea Pool. It measures 20 feet x 20 feet, though it looks like they can also customize the size of it depending on your needs.
The inflatable pool deck area also looks to be larger on FunAir's version vs Aquaglide's. Get more info on it here.
The FunAir Sea Pool takes around 30 minutes to fully setup. Their version comes with optional netting to keep sea life out, as well as optional stairs to easily get in and out of the water.
FunAir inflatable sea pools are a safe and comfortable way to enjoy swimming out in the ocean during your superyacht experience. The pools provide protection from jellyfish and sea critters with tightly woven netting, and provide an enclosed area to prevent charter guests from floating away in the current.
