Aguawell Saves The Water You Waste While Your Shower Heats Up

They say that when you start your shower and by the time it warms up, you have wasted around 2-5 gallons of water. That seems a bit wasteful to me, as well as to team who made the Aguawell. The Aguawell is a device that you can place in your shower before you begin to warm up your water so that it catches the water that doesn't get used before you get in, instead of it going down the drain and being completely wasted. Once the container is filled up with water, you can use it to water your plants, give you dog or cat a nice bath, or make a batch of beer. To use the device, simply set it on it's side and start your shower, once the water is hot and ready to use, close the opening on the Aguawell, and set it to the side. The device has a cap on it that you can take off to easily pour the water out.
The Aguawell uses an indented surface that slants and drains into an opening on the side of the container. If your shower really takes a while to heat up you can stack multiple Aguawells on top of one another so that the top one drains down to the containers below it once it's filled all the way up. To do this you need to stack the top container with the drainage hole directly above the bottom containers surface.
The Aguawell has a max capacity of 1.6 gallons, is made from 100% green polyethylene plastic, contains a handle on the top of it for easy transport, a swivel lid to easily open and close the container, has an overflow valve, as well as a second handle on the bottom of it for easy pouring. The Aguawell measures 16 inches long x 13.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep.
The Aguawell shower water saver is currently in a funding phase on IndieGoGo with an estimated delivery date of December 2015, so go reserve yours now, and be sure to check out the Aguawell in action via the video below.
