With the success of the Nessie Loch-Ness Monster Ladle, Ototo, the makers of the ladle have made a new version that resembles a swan, except with the addition of one super-cool feature that's been added. The Swanky Swan, as so it's called balances all by itself when placed into your pot of food, and even when set onto the counter, making it resemble a swan in a pond wherever it is.
Since the Swan ladle balances all by itself wherever it is, it'll make a perfect ladle for punch or soup at a party as there will be no worries about having to rest the ladle on the counter or elsewhere, making the counter and/or ladle dirty.
How it works is, the swan ladle has a counter-balance on the bottom of the ladle that keeps it more weighted on the bottom of it, so it'll always be standing straight up. Designed by Dikla Libresco, an industrial designer with a degree from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, the floating and self-balancing swan ladle will sit beautifully in your pot or bowl while it floats with grace and balances like a ballerina.
The self-balancing and floating swan ladle is made from BPA free and non-toxic, food-safe plastic, is heat resistant at up to 248 degrees F, is dishwasher safe, and comes in a bunch of different colors to choose from.
The Swan shaped self-balancing cooking ladle is currently in a funding phase on Kickstarter with an estimated delivery date of January 2017, so go reserve yours now, or get more information on their website, and be sure to check out the Swan ladle in action via the video below.
