Sometimes bending down to prepare and consume my cheeseburgers gets me winded. I think it has something to do with my core being weak like a small frail child. These balance boards seem to be all the rage lately, with all sorts of different styles and techniques including ones that look like a skateboard with a cylinder underneath it, to the circular boards that have a dimple on the bottom that you're supposed to balance on, and then there's this one that uses a spring to keep you balanced. The trick is to keep yourself balanced while you sit or stand, or you can even do workouts on it while you balance at the same time. If you sway too far to any side you'll droop down and lose the game along with all the points you've acquired.
The StrongBoard spring balance board gives you a full body and core workout that improves your proprioception balance and posture, increases your flexibility, your range of motion, your blood flow, and will rehabilitate skeletal and muscular injuries. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels, the spring balance board is portable and uses no electricity. The way it works is the platform that you sit/stand/lay on rests on four compression springs that allow you to train using your own body-weight for resistance.
You can simply stand on the spring balance board for a great core work out, or you can do full workouts including push-ups, squats, etc, that will give you faster results and burn more calories since there's a third element of balancing while you do your workouts.
The StrongBoard spring balance boards come in a variety of different colors to choose from, has a max capacity of around 300 lbs, and comes with a poster showing different exercies that you can do using the spring balance board. The board itself weighs 14.8 lbs, and measures 26 inches long x 18 inches wide x 10 inches in height.
