It's that age-old quagmire - you want to get out of town and do some camping but you also want to bring your boat. The problem, your car can only haul one thing at a time. Okay, so maybe it's not an age-old problem, but it is a problem for those of you who like to enjoy the great outdoors. You're forced to choose between your boat or sleeping comfortably. The SEALANDER has solved this problem for you. This caravan can be used both on land and on the water and thanks to its compact size and light weight you no longer need a heavy duty vehicle to haul it - in fact, the SEALANDER can be connected to just about any car.
The hull of this caravan is made of fiberglass and reinforced with plastic, very much like a typical speed boat. To use in the water just add an outboard engine with up to 9.87 horsepower on the stern.
"The SEALANDER [is] light-weight, extremely robust, and stable both on water and land."
It's the light weight that helps to make the SEALANDER both environmentally friendly and easy to maneuver even with small vehicles - something you don't get with other pull behind campers. It is constructed to withstand speeds of up to 62 mph, so you'll be cracking open that first frosty cold one to kick vacation off in no time. And thanks to its size, you don't even need to get an extra license for use on the road or the water (bonus!). With a max height of 75.6 inches, the SEALANDER should fit in any garage allowing you to stow away easily when not in use. This compact size comes in hand when in use as well because you'll be able to fit into resting places that other campers can't.
The SEALANDER comes with a ladder that serves many functions. On land, it helps you get in and out of the camper in addition to providing support to stabilize the camper. On the water, the ladder can be used for many purposes - when raised up it can be used as a railing, it can be used to attach an on-board grill (I don't know many other boats that offer that!), and it can be used as most boat ladders are used...to get in and out. There are also four handrails on each side to provide additional assistance when getting in and out.
"Transitioning into and out of the water [is] quick and simple."
You may be questioning how being submerged in water will affect the wheels...well, no need to worry SEALANDER thought of that too. The chassis is fully galvanized and the hubcaps are encased in oil. This creates a protective barrier against rust and water damage.
"In just minutes, the SEALANDER transforms from beach house to boat house."
The SEALANDER features panoramic, tinted windows on both sides allowing you to take in nature in all its glory. If that's not close enough to the action for you, you can open the roof up and really breath in that fresh vacation air.
Inside are two benches on either side of an adjustable table. The benches can seat up to six people (seriously!). Looking to lounge? No problem!
"Within seconds, the seating area can be transformed into a spacious place to recline in the sun or under the stars."
With the SEALANDER…
"The options are limitless, from forest camping to exploring beautiful lakes."
