The mirrored fence is a concept designed by an American designer named Alyson Shotz from Brooklyn NY, and is a sure fire way to injure your dog, birds, or stupid humans. The mirrored fence creates an infinitely long landscape as it reflects and is almost completely camouflauged when looked upon at certain angles. The fence was a commissioned art installation at the Storm King Art Center In NY from 2010 – 2012. The mirror fence is made from acrylic, wood, and aluminum, and spans a length of 138 feet long x 36 inches tall. Someone just needs to start a Kickstarter campaign so that everyone can have a mirror fence, although I’m not sure how well it will hold up in a hail storm, or a tornado might end up impaling some children around town.
