This Creepy Spider Night Light Robot Will Crawl Around Your House At Night

If your night light isn't extremely unique and does something extra, I'm not interested! If you don't already have a superhero night light that protrudes from your wall, a removable glowing ball that you can take with you to the bathroom, or a fire breathing dragon, perhaps this new night light we found may be of interest! It's a robotic spider shaped night light, and it may be the creepiest thing we've seen in a quite a while.

Not only is this night-light shaped like a spider, but since it has robotic legs, it'll crawl around your house at night. So if you wake up in the middle of the night and hear some creepy tapping on the floor along with a soft glow under the crack in your door go by, have no worries, it's just your night light spider robot.

The unique spider shaped robot night light was created by a Japanese IT engineer that goes by lanius on Twitter.

After posting the viral video of the spider night light that crawls around your house, he officially creeped out the entire internet. Along with the short 23 second video he captions it with: "I have a walking bedside lamp. Now I don't have to worry about waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom."

Although the bottom half of the robotic night light looks like a spider with robotic legs, the top half is simply shaped like a glowing square that illuminates everything around it with a soft creepy glow.

Small commercial motors are placed in each leg to control the movements, and other parts are 3D printed to connect everything together with the lamp on top.

The spider robot lamp can be connected to a video game remote where you can control the speed and direction it walks in.

Although this version of the crawling spider night light is manually controlled, he does plan to release a newer version of the mobile lamp that is autonomously controlled, making it even more creepy!

There also may be plans to create the spider robot lamp with a digital face that can give off different emotions depending on the situation he's in!
