The Bookshade is a Lamp That Uses a Book as the Lamp Shade

Similar to this wall mounted bookmark which kind of acts as a one book bookshelf which also holds your spot where you're reading, the Bookshade also can act as a bookmark but has the added benefit of acting as a lamp shade for a light bulb underneath it. The way it works is under your book is an angled bracket that holds your book open and upright, and right inside the bracket is a light bulb so that all the light goes downwards. A perfect minimal nightlight or reading light (although you'll need a second book for that), the Bookshade book lamp is a clever and stylish way to decorate your home or office in a contemporary fashion.

The Bookshade book lamp supports only low energy or low LED bulbs seeing as this could be quite the fire hazard, is made from metal with a matte white finish, and supports a cylindrical shaped 25 w E14 bulb. The book lamp attaches anywhere to your wall and has a cord that has an on/off switch that plugs into the wall.
