To make a fire the traditional Swedish way is to split a log into 4 pieces, and light the inside of the logs on fire while standing it straight up. The spaces in between the logs make for great airflow and keeps the fire burning. The Swedish Log Stovetop is a device that you can place on top of the logs to have a flat surface to cook on, plus there are 4 spikes that are mounted on the outside of the stovetop that keeps all 4 logs in place so they won't fall down. The stovetop also has 4 metal tabs that stick down to keep the logs separated and to ensure proper airflow can get between each log.

Show your family how much of a man you are by not needing a griddle to make them some breakfast, all you need is a giant log, an ax, a bit of muscle, the Swedish log stove-top, and a way to make fire, and you will have a family that's somewhat proud to have you around.
Created by Sportes Inc, an outdoor tool design shop based out of Quebec, the Swedish log stovetop or MITI-001 as so it's called is built from laser cut stainless steel, is able to accommodate logs that measure between 7.5 - 9 inches in diameter and 12 - 14 inches tall, stores in a pouch for easy transport, and weighs roughly 2.5 lbs.
